OUR STANDARD

Professionalism Behind the Creativity.

Events are creative, but they are also fast-moving, physical and highly detailed working environments.

The people we work with need to be reliable, respectful and comfortable working as part of a team. We value people who communicate clearly, arrive prepared, follow direction and take pride in the work they contribute.

Depending on the role or project, you may be working directly with our clients, venues and other event professionals, so representing our business with professionalism and care is essential.

Experience within the events industry is valuable, but so are initiative, attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.

We don’t expect everyone to know everything.

We do expect everyone to care about doing their part well.

JOIN THE TEAM

Behind Every Event Is a Great Crew.

Our event and styling crew are the hands behind the scenes — helping us prepare, deliver, install, style and pack down events across Melbourne.

The work can include event preparation, loading and unloading, furniture and décor placement, tablescape setup, drapery assistance, styling installations, venue bump-ins and late-night bump-outs.

Event work isn't always glamorous. It can involve early mornings, late nights, physical work, tight timelines and changing environments — but there is something incredibly rewarding about seeing an empty space transformed and knowing you helped create it.

We look for people who are reliable, practical, respectful, well presented and willing to work as part of a team.

Roles may be casual, freelance or project-based, depending on our requirements and your experience.

Requirements may include: relevant experience, availability for event hours, reliable transport, appropriate insurance or registrations where applicable, and completion of any required inductions, OHS or venue requirements.

WORK WITH OUR EVENTS

Trusted Partners. Stronger Events.

We work with a growing network of venues, suppliers, makers, trades and specialist event businesses to support the events we design and deliver.

We value partners who provide quality products and services, clear communication, reliable delivery and consistent professional standards.

Our supplier relationships are built for the long term. When we find businesses that work well with our team and clients, we want to continue creating opportunities to quote, collaborate and work together across future events.

All suppliers engaged by Miss Events Melbourne are required to complete our Vendor & Supplier onboarding process before commencing work. This ensures expectations around quoting, invoicing, communication, insurance, compliance and professional standards are clear from the beginning.

Being an approved supplier does not guarantee work, but it allows our team to consider your business for suitable future projects.

CREATE WITH US

For Creatives Who Bring Something of Their Own.

Some projects call for additional creative minds, specialist skills and experienced hands.

We work with freelance stylists, florists, photographers, content creators, designers, makers, production professionals and other event creatives when their experience and aesthetic are the right fit for a project.

We value creatives who bring their own perspective and expertise while understanding how to work collaboratively within an established creative direction.

Working with us may be project-based, freelance, contracted or collaborative, depending on the opportunity.

Professionalism, communication and respect for creative ownership, client relationships and the contribution of every business involved are essential to the way we work.

If your work feels aligned with ours, we’re always interested in discovering new talent and creative connections.

EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST

COLLABORATE WITH US

Ideas Are Better When the Fit Is Right.

We selectively consider creative collaborations, brand partnerships, styled shoots, editorial projects, charity initiatives and industry opportunities that align with our creative direction and values.

For us, a collaboration is a professional partnership. It should offer genuine value to everyone involved, with clear expectations around contributions, responsibilities, deliverables, image usage, credits and tagging.

All confirmed collaborations are supported by a Collaboration Agreement, and depending on the project, a Collaboration Bond and/or quoted Collaboration Fees may apply.

We don’t provide complimentary products, styling or services purely in exchange for exposure. We’re interested in opportunities where there is purpose, alignment and something genuinely worthwhile to create together.
